I am a Board Approved Supervisor (AHPRA PSY0001705857) that can provide supervision to psychologists at various stages of their careers. I can provide in-person supervision at my Putney office or via zoom teleconferencing.

From my bio, you can see my areas of practice and the modalities I have trained in. Personally, I use Schema Therapy as my main approach and this is my passion, although I will weave in strategies from other modalities where appropriate. If you are newly registered then I would encourage you to focus on your Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills as your foundation and then when you feel confident I would support you in gradually expanding your skillsets to other modalities.

My style of supervision is quite experiential in that I will encourage you to role-play clients and I will model techniques and skills as well as ask you to take the opportunity to have a go as well. I also enjoy helping other psychologists find their “personal style” in therapy as this is something I know can take time. It is important that you feel authentic and genuine in how you conduct your therapy.

For Asian psychologists

I am currently working on better understanding and supporting the needs of both Asian psychologists and clients as part of a research and training initiative I launched in 2023 called Project HoriZen. If you are looking to better understand how your own cultural upbringing impacts the way that you work with clients then this is an area that I would love to support you in.

Please contact me if you are interested in my services and I would be happy to organise to discuss if I am a good fit for you.
